We will only do the bare minimum of hacking the board software. The tech support people at the Reader insist on this. Frankly, the board is buggy enough out of the box, we don’t need to introduce other variables into the equation.
As for doing anything quickly, the SDMB does not do ANY changes to the message board quickly. It may seem so, but the stuff that appears has usually been talked about (by the mods and the Reader) for quite a while. We don’t usually do stuff on a timetable, either. I was expecting the subscription plan to start a couple of YEARS ago.
