I would be inclined to say beer, but it’s one of those areas where the more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know. In some groups of people, I feel like the giant encyclopedia of beer knowledge, and in other groups, I feel like the rank newbie who’s just getting his feet wet.
But I do have some very specific and unusual tastes in beers. I’m more inclined to the porters and stouts end of things, where you get a lot of the toasted flavors in the mix.
Musical theater in general, and Andrew Lloyd Webber in particular. I’m also a wordsmith, studying the origins of words.
