Comments please!
That car is totally fucking cool, one of the coolest I’ve seen in a while.
I want one too, only in blue. Then I’m sure I’d have to learn to drive stick, which is a feat in and of itself.
That’s the most incredible car ever!!!
Gorgeous!
sweet!
insurance has to be a bitch though.
I know it’s a differnent car, but the first thing that jumped into my head was “Harold and Maude.” Are you good at welding?
Beautiful car.
Paging Coldfire! Got one right up your alley!
That shit is sweet. Off the hook, one might say.
Can I trade you my 2002 Chevy Prism?
Does nothing for me but then, I’m not a fan of classic cars.
Would an early 70s car be considered classic yet?
Yup, anything over 30 gets that moniker. She’s obviously in great shape, but no offense, I think that they look like hamsters. Does it still have the manual crank for the wipers or was that no longer required by law?
Ooh, it’s a beauty. I’m envious.
I don’t know much about Citroen models - do these have the funky pneumatic-hydraulic suspension thing?
Not really. Car insurance in Greece is quite cheap.
No!
No. It has electric wipers. This is one of the late models, just a couple of years before production ended. I believe only the early 1955-1960 models had hand-cranked wipers.
Yep! That’s why I love this car. The ride quality is exceptional. I can go over pot holes and traffic bumps without reducing speed. But it handles a little funny at corners.
Another cool feature is that the two inner headlights are connected to the steering and turn into the corner to provide better lighting. Auto mfgs. have just recently started to re-discover this feature.
Here are some more pics:
I will try to upload more pics later
A guy I used to know years ago in California - Steve Anderson - had a Citroen. It was the coolest car ever. It had the hydraulics, too.
He loved that thing like it was his own child.
Gee, I wonder where they could have gotten an idea like that?
Good looking car but not my cup of tea. Perhapse because I remember seeing such cars in the mid to late 70’s when they were just considered odd shaped and hadn’t achieved any sort of classic status.
Beauty! I love the color, how do you pronounce the name?
Gotta love how the idiot lights are clustered in a circle like one of the gauges.
I notice a big red STOP warning light. When would that come on?
Most excellent. I LOVE older cars, even when the ride is rough & noisy. Because I feel more like part of the machine than I do in a silent & heavily padded steel box.
These two cars could pass for brothers.
