What does Microsoft think your user name should be?

Same here, tubagirl.

First up was Million
Second choice Milliner

I rather like that…the Milliner Million, or perhaps the Million Milliner(s)!

Wow… Scimitar… Nice. I get a sword for a user-name.

I don’t have a Microsoft product handy, but Nisus Writer says:

Haunter

I’ve long since added my real name to the dictionary, but MS Word wants to change UncleBeer to unclear. Sounds about right.

Mine are so boring:

Keep
Kept
Keri
Keeps
Zzzzzzzzz!

And tatertot, I hope you use the super cool waterdog if you ever choose to create a sock puppet. (Not that I mean to imply that you would ever create a sock puppet!)

Corrode (yeah, like I didn’t hear that one throughout elementary school)

Cored

John Cored? So undistinctive.

Just to be sure, I checked it again on my system at work, in Word. (98 at home, 95 here at work.) Still says Kumquat.

Corvus, I suggest you attend the Dade City, Florida kumquat festival in order to get a true appreciation for the nature of kumquat…

Moo.

I never thought onomatopeia counted as words.

Word 2000 recognized my name as an actual word, strangely enough. It was kind enough to point out to me that I forgot to capitalize it when I typed it in though.

Word suggested that I change my name to Gobi. Funny, I don’t look Mongolian.

My user name is two words which are actually words - but if I jam them together it suggests jackboot.
Hmmm, I’m not sure if I like what that says about me.

ReservoirDog should be Reservoir dog

I knew that already.

Hmmm. Nothing fancy here. Word likes my spacing as well as my capitalization. Like Jack though, if I cram it together it gets a little testy. BottleofSmoke is just met with the ever so helpful “no spelling suggestions.”

It has no problem with the spelling of either my username or my real name, but thinks my real name (two common English words not normally stuck together) is a grammar error.
