The Honest Lawyer Pub Sign
What does it mean?
Why is his head in his hand?
Did I stump everybody?
Perhaps with his head off, he can’t talk, and therefore can’t lie? I dunno. . .
Yep. No head = dead = no talking.
That’s what someone else here said, but then I thought:
If he’s dead, he cant’ stand up like that
If the point was no talking, then they would have just sewn his mouth shut.
But, I guess no talking is the best interpretation.
Here’s a wild-ass guess: If he was an honest lawyer, he went to court, argued his case *and was “handed his head” * by the opposition. (see, he was honest, so he lost badly)
I don’t like lawyers much.
Every now and then, you just gotta shit!
Very unusual. A lawyer with his hand in his own pocket. Maybe that’s it. hehe
(I just took the bar exam, I’m entitled to make fun of my profession)
