Arrgh. I’m unfortunately in the generation that finds this “cool.” If anyone here has a fine memory, he or she wil recall that Tony Saragusa (sp?) wore his cap this way for the 4-10 second thing where they name and credit the players on the field. It was horrible. I wanted to gouge my eyes out with herrings.
As far as the hat thing goes, I could cut a little slack for sideways (it’s not the worst thing ever), but an upside-down, backward or sideways VISOR! So lame.
Now, I understand the whole “crazy kids dressin’ crazy” thing. I was pretty weird looking when I was in high school. But the big pant thing gets me. I mean, just plain old baggy pants look good I think, but I’m talking about the REALLY big, big pants. I almost died laughing a couple of years ago when I saw a few kids trying to get on the bus with ther big pants on and they couldn’t get up the steps. It was too funny!
It’s definitely a sign of getting older, no doubt about that!
Eminem wore his visor like that, so of course all the preppy kids want to look like rough and tough Eminem! He brought in the visor thing by himself also. Not without a little help from Abercrombie and Fitch though. After all, every thug goes shopping at the A&F
