What exact TV show title has had the most unrelated TV shows.

I just thought: I could name 4 completely different and unrelated TV shows with the name Jericho, can think of maybe a few pairs and no triples. What other show titles are there that have had a lot of shows with the same title? They should be completely unrelated, and the title should be an exact match.

Well, for episode titles, “Pilot” is the clear winner.

The closest I can find for a triple is “Jesse” – although in one case it was spelled “Jessie.”

I prefer shows like Judy Garland and Doris Day, where the format was overhauled so extensively (four times in the case of Doris Day) that the star was the only thing that held it together.

Well, there were famously two different and distinct shows called ER, and both starred George Clooney!

Note the OP said “exact”. Clooney was in only one show called ER. He was also in another show called E/R. Note that he didn’t appear in most of either show. 107 of 331 of the first, 8 of 22 of the second (and not one of the leads).

Vega$, Vegas, Las Vegas, Las Vega’s, Vegas [movie], Dr. Vegas, Jail: Las Vegas, Vegas Cops.

Conviction has four TV shows and three TV movies

General Hospital, soap opera in the US (1963 - present)

General Hospital, UK drama (1972 - 1980)

General Hospital, episode in Kate & Allie (1986)

Clampett General Hospital, episode in The Beverly Hillbillies (1965)

General Hospital, episode in Blackadder Goes Forth (1989)

There’s about two dozen more. See for yourself:

General Hospital,

E/R

E.R.

Both had Clooney in them, which is some kind of bonus.

I guess movies don’t really count, but anyway:

7 replies to the OP and you couldn’t be bothered to read two of them?

Don’t be ridiculous. Oh, wait, I’m the one who missed that. Wait…I’m wrong?

I swear, I thought I’d read the entire thread. My bad. Apologies all around.

“11 O’Clock News”

Or maybe “10 O’Clock News”. I’m not counting them up.

But like Jesse and Jessie mentioned above, the titles were pronounced the same.

There have been at least 6 TV shows and over a dozen feature films called “Drifter” or “The Drifter.” More, if you accept plurals.
