what film uses ''don't fence me in''??

Just wondering if anyone knows what film uses the song ‘‘don’t fence me in’’ during the opening credits?

‘Don’t fence me in’ is sung in karaoke near the beginning (maybe over the credits) of a movie from the early 90’s involving a crime at a Japanese company. I can’t remember the name, but I think it had Wesley Snipes and Sean Connery playing cops and Vector sports car, which got crashed. And it was pretty bad.

From 1945, starring Roy Rogers: Don’t Fence Me In.

Don’t know if it’s sung over the opening credits, however.

I think that’s “Rising Sun”, written by Michael Creighton/Crighton/Crichton. I don’t recall the song in there, but I’m not watching it again to find out.

IIRC, the song is used in the opening sequence of the Australian film Chopper, accompanying time-lapse photography of sunlight sweeping across prison walls, among other images.

I thought David Byrne used it in some movie he did, but I can’t find a cite in IMDB.

Like any good song written for Warner Brothers, it’s been recycled many times.

The wikipedia article for the song says “David Byrne did a cover of this song in 1990 for a Cole tribute album entitled Red Hot + Blue. Byrne also performed what he describes as his “Brazilian” version of the song during his 2004 tour for the Grown Backwards album.”
