Nada. We wrote significant checks to our adult relatives last month, and I don’t need the angst of trying to buy things for people.
As a migraine sufferer myself, I bought this earlier this year and absolutely LOVE it. I would be so happy if someone bought this for me as a gift, especially if they took my migraines into account.

Found a thing for my grandma who has dementia…Jebus this thing is expensive. You’d think they coulda made it pretty. Maybe I should decorate it.

My mom asked my nieces to fill out a Christmas list worksheet. It had 4 lines each for “Things I want, Things I Need, Things to Wear, Things to Read.” The 14-year old did a good job of filling hers out. The 12-year old only submitted 4 things total.
One thing was “Y2K Clothes (google it!)” so I did. Apparently clothes with the aesthetic of Y2K are all the rage now. Think…Spice Girls? Tight, cropped shirts and baggy pants. I wasn’t about to buy a 12-year-old any cropped shirts but I did get her some parachute pants and cargo pants from Pacific Sun. I’m not a big fan of the constant yoga pants look these days, mostly because how do you live life without pockets, so I was excited to get her some big-ass pants. With big-ass pockets.
I also got her some Stephen King books after consulting with my friend about what SK books are good for 12-year-olds. My SIL tells me she likes to read horror so might as well go there.
Yay! 
I was in Appalachia this summer; did a coal mine tour. Bought her a lump of coal in the gift shop. If only I can remember where I put it, I’m buying her a stocking to put it in.

Have a ‘coal futures’ or mine stock certificate made up and give it now. Callback at xmas for laffs. Or give as carbon sequestration credits.
Last year I gave everyone socks. The year before I gave everyone Matilde Vicenzi Italian cookie tins. The year before that everyone got cheese gift boxes.
The socks felt uninspired, and the cheese boxes I had to store for 2 weeks, so I’ll probably just go with the cookies again this year.
I like to look at “Gifts for Her” lists and imagine how horrified I’d be to receive any of the suggested items. 
Yeah… Umm… No. We did it simple. I said I would like a robe. She said she would like a neckless and sent me 11 links that I could choose from. I bought 3. I hope I don’t get 3 robes. 
Odd because she really is not into jewelry. And I’ve never had a robe in my life.
We are not rich. We buy what we need though. Gift giving is hard.
You don’t necessarily need three robes as long as you get the right robe!
