Price granularity is an important aspect of our economy. Where would we be if my grandma can’t comparison shop for beans? Where, I tell you?! A quarter being the lowest denomination sounds a bit extreme, but a dime should do it.
Anyway, what do people think of making all the coins smaller? Why are coins so big, anyway? I guess at one time they had to actually be worth something in raw metal, but that’s as much an outdated notion now as it was in rome.
