What Happened To Belladonna?

Beadalin, I didn’t place anorexia and bulimia on the same plane as other healthy steps women take to beautify themselves. I placed them on the same plane as using belladonna, which clearly isn’t healthy. I agree with you that those things are diseases.

Now that I see some of you have had your eyes dilated, can any of you tell me how other people perceived you while you were in this state?

"My Mom went to an opthamologist or optometerist or something
and came back with her eyes all dialated.
"

Yep. They also have something to un-do that. Some more drops they put in. So says my friend who went through this.

I thought everyone who’s had the benefit of modern, Western medical care has had their eyes dilated. Haven’t you ever been to the eye doctor? I’ve had my eyes dilated dozens of times. It makes me look like a freaking rabbit.

I have had medicine containing atropine prescibed by a doctor, in this case for a gastric upset. It was sort of interesting reading the label on the way home and thinking “I know I have heard of atropine, what is it, what is it,”, then "oh it has to be belladonna - I didn’t think I was that bad a patient.

Back in high school I knew this guy that made some belladona tea for a while. It certainly dialated your eyes as well as many other very strange and sometimes scary things. I remember seeing one of my friends do some exceptionally unusual things on that tea such as some how losing his pants right before going into the grocery store where cussed out the mother of another friend of ours. To be honest I can’t say I’m sorry the stuph isn’t still commenly used.
