Supposedly Anonymous was set to take down Fox News on Saturday. I just checked, Fox is up, and searching around in the news doesn’t reveal anything new. Did they just abandon the plan?
I guess nobody else knows, either. I’ll do one bump for the night crowd.
If there was an attack on their web sites, it’s possible they simply failed. From what I’ve seen of Anon’s methods and from reviewing their DDoS tool it seems relatively straightforward to defend against an attack given some notice. Certainly some of their attacks have been inept. But that’s based on info at least several months old, I haven’t kept up.
