What happened to "The History of Beavis and Butt-head"?

What’s the deal with this DVD? It was supposed to be out on Sept. 24, but Best Buy had a correction that said they would not be getting it. I heard that it had been cancelled, but that a few copies had leaked out to stores. Anyone know what happened?

From their report on 10/1:

The History of Beavis and Butthead, a 32-episode collection, was originally slated for 9/24 but was recalled at the last minute. Here’s the story, straight from the studio:

“The box set is delayed because we have decided to explore a new mix of B&B content with MTV and the show’s creators. We do not have a release date set for this new material.”

However, some copies apparently got out before the recall, and are selling on Ebay. So there you go.
