Apparently the ‘San Pablo’ was built in Hong Kong for the film The Sand Pebbles. Was it in fact built for the film, or was it a pre-existing ship that was modified? What happened to it when filming was completed?

Unfortunately there was an error opening the file in QuickTime. I tried downloading Flip4Mac, but that didn’t work. It also wouldn’t open in Final Cut Pro or iMovie.
So what happened to the ship after filming?

Presumably someone knows what eventually happened to the ship, but if there’s been a long chain of custody her final owners may not have realized that she was once the San Pablo.
