In regards to the article What happens during cremation?, I was told after my Grandmothers cremation that what generally happens is that 2+ bodies are burnt at the same time, and not to mention anything about this to a certain aunty, simply because she would be mortified to find out that the urn would contain some of Nana and some of other peoples ashes.
I don’t mean in the sense that they just stacked in a few bodies on top of each other and burnt, but that the morticians have what could be described as 3-4 seperate crematoria that are joined and have holes between to increase airflow (or the like), essentially creating one big furnace.
Is there any truth in this or was my (A.Hole) brother just having me on again?
