So if they don’t surrender, do US Marshalls get sent to grab them? Are they just fugitives officially until they surrender or get caught? Do they just have to make sure to stay out of Georgia? How does that work?
There would be a felony warrant out for their arrest, and any law enforcement officer in the country could execute it if they happened upon one of the fugitives. They would (should) get arrested and extradited. And they’d have a hard time arguing for a low bail after they are hauled into court. I’m not sure, but I don’t think the US Marshalls would be assigned to a state arrest warrant.
Driving is for the Hoi Polloi. The commoners. Not the royal class like Meadows.

FWIW, some online bookmakers are offering bets on his weight at time of booking. One of these books is setting the over/under weight at 273.5 pounds. I believe I’d take the over on this one.
The rumor is the over/under was quickly bet up to 278.5 when BetOnline reported that 77% of the early bets were taking the over.

I hope Trump is aware of this development. Although I generally don’t like attacks based on weight (see Gov. Christie, for example) I relish Trump’s embarrassment and shame for any reason.

He might, I found an article with a video that Melania took from the back seat while Trump was driving and listening to Taylor Swift. I don’t know how old the video is, but it doesn’t seem that old. The article itself is from 2017.
If nothing else, it’s really bizarre to watch. But I suspect he actually does have a license, whether or not he actually drives a vehicle very often himself.
