Is it possible the interview underwent some editing? Trump’s attorneys are derelict in their duty if they didn’t listen in off-camera, and it would be very simple for them to object to some answers Trump gave and have Tucker re-tape certain parts.
That’s more believable to me than the idea that Trump did not respond in his usual way to all the bait Tucker was throwing his way.

CNN is showing Trump leaving Bedminster for the airport. Huge motorcade, all kinds of flashing lights, as usual. I’m imagining Trump thinking, “I have the best motorcades. Nobody has better motorcades than me!” One vehicle in it was an ambulance—has this been SOP in the past? Well, I guess it adds to the flashing lights.
