That’s great. But it still saddens me how slow justice moves for the rich and connected.
The more I thought about the timing…Congress has a summer break that would fall in that time frame, yes?

What about Georgia Senate Bill 92? AFAICT, Brian Kemp hasn’t signed it into law yet but is expected to do so.
If signed, it will create an oversight commission for prosecutors in Georgia, which could be used to target Fani Willis. Not sure of the particulars for how she might be removed, what the steps are, how long it would take, etc.
It’s really worrying me that Ms. Willis is going to get sidelined before any possible indictments could be issued against Trump, Graham, or anyone else involved in the whole “just find me 11,780 votes” scheme.
As I heard it explained-there’s “real time” and “court time.” One’s much slower than the other, obviously.

Just heard on CNN that the delay is because they are notifying law enforcement about potential violence, giving them time prepare, which certainly sounds like some shit is coming down. I mean, there would be no extra security needed if no charges were coming, right?
I think “law enforcement” could get ready with a week or two heads up. This is going really slow. I’m not sure why, but for those of us on the outside, it’s maddening.

She asks him to prepare for violence in reaction to announcements of charging decisions and she says that those announcements will be coming between July 11 and September 1 because that is the next time the grand jury will be in session.
This seems to me that she is definitely going to ask the grand jury for indictments, and those indictments will be of people who have followers prone to violent reactions which means Trump.
I hope it’s more than just Don The Con, I want Rudy and Mark Meadows behind bars too.

In this context, “term of court” means that court is in session which includes a grand jury being in session.
