That question just popped into my head randomly yesterday. 
Which bones? I’m sort of counting on my thigh bone not fusing with my hip bone.
I broke my C2 vertebra a few years ago, but I didn’t go to the doctor right away. Every time I bent my head down, the vertebra opened up, so it never fused together. It took surgery to fuse it, with spare bone fragments taken from my pelvis.
