What happens to the Trump Organization now?
Eric Trump runs it (in name) and it makes A LOT of money over the next 4 years.
But that’s okay, because it’s going to be a “blind trust”.
Probably through the State Department.
And, when do we get to see his taxes?
Will Donald jr and Eric run it? Donald jr is the eldest son.

As you know (but others may not), Eric literally does not know what a “blind trust” even is. No clue.

IANAL, but I seem to recall that, technically, there are none. It’s more of a tradition than a matter of legality.

There aren’t any. It’s a tradition like releasing tax returns.
I imagine the work really piled up while he was off gallivanting all over the country on that campaign of his. Oh, well, I’m sure he’ll still manage to find the time for some of that Presidenty stuff.

So Mr. Trump is free to both be POTUS and be the head of the Trump Organization?
It certainly ups the possibility of him being caught up in some impeachable offense. I fully expect him to build up some sort of plausible deniability that he’s still running the show over in the private sector, though.
I’m sure whatever arrangement is put in place will have a certain amount of blind trustiness.
So let’s say the President meets with the PM of Kazakhstan about some trade deal or a negotiation about territorial claims with Russia. Two weeks after the meeting, but before the US government has decided whatever it has to decide, some local oligarch announces he plans to build a Trump hotel in Astana or Almaty. How is this not seen as influence buying? How can he claim to have his assets in a blind trust when a great deal of his assets involve his name and his brand?
Why do you think Mr. Trump will make any arrangements at all?
Why do you think he won’t just continue to run the Trump Organization?
He’ll tweet at 3am as usual, that leaves him free to run his company the whole rest of the day.
