What has Obama done for me lately?

Was planning on heading over to check the federal register, but I was wondering if any of you had any thoughts as to good places to find out exactly what specific policy actions this administration has taken.

ISTR that on his inauguration day Clinton signed at least a couple of orders, one of which dealt with abortion services associated with federal institutions/programs. Yesterday Obama signed a symbolic resolution of good feeling. And I saw news reports that agencies have been ordered to stop implementing last minute policies of the previous administration.

So where are you going to see what the new sheriff in town has done for you lately?

President Obama also moved for a halt of 120 days on all Gitmo prosecutions; a military judge there granted the motion just this morning.

The new White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, issued a memo to all Federal departments ordering them to stop implementing any late Bush directives and executive orders until the Obama Administration can complete a policy review.

Obama has already said he intends to again rescind the “Global Gag Rule” as to abortion and abortion counseling in U.S. foreign aid programs, as Clinton did in 1993.

The other two papers the President signed between the inauguration and the luncheon were the formal nominations of his Cabinet and sub-Cabinet officials.

Since whitehouse.gov switched over to new “ownership” right about noon EDT yesterday, that might be a good spot. I also saw a 120-day suspension of Guantanamo legal proceedings topping the page at Google News.

Washington Post has a blog which seems to be up-to-the minute. For instance, it has a post on what time he came to the office this morning, and that he called the Middle East leaders in the late morning:
