Why would the desire to have standards for the nation mean someone just wants large government? Maybe they want standards because they don’t want the center of the country to be filled with delusional, uneducated people.

I am not aware of any ‘progressives’, other than the left wing equivalent to Westboro Baptist Church, who justify events like 9/11. Anyone who believes progressives think and teach this has been brainwashed by the right wing hate machine.

Lots. The fact is a lot of progressives were happy on 9/11 because they felt that the “evil white man” was getting what he deserved. I’m an independent and I’m saying this.

New York, L.A., Chicago, etc. I know for a far that some progressives beamed on 9/11. It made them happy. That’s why some of them are so complicit with radical Islam.

I’m a progressive, and I, for one, think all the Abrahamic religions are stupid nonsense.
I don’t support Muslims over Christians, however, I do think we should treat religions equitably. No one is persecuting Christians in this country, but plenty of people are persecuting Muslims.

Muslims caused it on themselves. If they didn’t hijack planes into a commercial business area, no one won’t be picking on them today. They need to go. Anyone that is friends with them are aiding the enemy.
No one is “picking on” the Muslims that did that. Nor is anyone “friends with them,” either.
So you’re against the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees freedom of religion.
Given that since 9/11 more Americans have been killed in this country by Christian extremists than have been killed by Muslim extremists, all Christians need to go. Anyone that is friends with them or siding with them is aiding the enemy.
