Similar to the ham story, years ago I was coming out of a Wallyworld, with my three kids under five. Harried, and not much money, since I was a stay-at-home mom at this point. Every penny was budgeted. On the ground next to the cart stand was a five-pound package of hot dogs, still frozen. No one was around, so I scooped it up and took it home. We ate hot dogs for a whole week.
I end up taking random pens/pencils home from my desk often, but I take a lot of my stuff from home to school, so it probably all evens out.
