What have you NOT been able to find on the Net?

OMIGOD - I think that was it! After reading the site, it came to me that CNN never used the word lesbian in it’s discussion of it, I must have mentally added it. Oops.

Is that the one that has the lines:
Who is the King of Glory?/How shall we call him?/He is Emmanuel/The Promised of Ages?

Green Bean-that’s why they’re so good-they’re so messed up and twisted!

Can’t find anything on the net about about 19th century South American tin (the metal) and rubber industrialists who made forunes and built cities with grand opera houses etc in the middle of the deepest South American rainforests. Apparently all gone back to the jungle now.

Several years ago, I tried to find a listing of various ways to skin a cat. No luck then, but I’d expect it to be there now.

Some but not all. Teatro Amazonas in Manaus is still one of the world’s most famous opera houses. Try this, and search the links:

I have not been able to find the origins of Boston’s nickname of Beantown. I’m looking for the history of it and can’t find it. I only seem to find that it is indeed nicknamed Beantown.

A quick detour to Google.com and the keywords “Beantown Boston nickname” revealed that beans were a favorite food from the days of the Triangle Trade. The molasses they were cooked in came from the West Indies.

I just found this that says it is closed because the owner died:

Also you had the town name wrong it is Guntersville, AL
I think I have seen some of this collection at the Southern Museum of Flight here in B’ham. Later…

Yer welcome.

YES! Thank you! So I’m not crazy, it really does exist. I was starting to get worried. But I still can’t find it on the Net…

The soundtrack of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA featuring NO, not the original cast with Michael Crawford who can’t sing ::yyawn:: but instead Thomas James O’Leary, i.e., the current cast.

MP3 would do. CD better. I’d take bootleg cassette tapes.

The words to the poem “The Book of Yolek” by Anthony Hecht, and a copy of “King Matt the First” by Janusz Korczack for under $153.
(somebody PLEASE sell me this!)

The name of the actress who played Athena, the girl from the Green Dimension, in a couple episodes of the old “Lost in Space” TV series. There is no shortage of “Lost in Space” fan sites and episode guides, but none that I’ve seen mention her name.

Is this it?
The King of Glory Comes

*The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices!
Open the gates before him, lift up your voices!

Who is the king of glory; how shall we call him?
He is Emmanuel, the promised of ages. (Refrain)

In all of Galilee, in city or village,
He goes among his people, curing their illness. (Refrain)

Sing then of David’s Son, our Saviour and brother;
In all of Galilee was never another. (Refrain)

He gave his life for us, the pledge of salvation,
He took upon himself the sins of the nation. (Refrain) *

I found it on a church bulletin site with no copyright info. Sorry.

That’ll do, thanks.

I’ve been trying to find a place to buy one of those strap to the back of your hand massagers.

They were popular probably about 10+ years ago. They had coils that would go around your hand and the power pack would rest on the back of your hand. It was a plug in model. I called the manufacturer of the one my aunt has, but they don’t make them anymore.

If anyone could find this I (and my boyfriend) would be eternally grateful

I’m having trouble finding a pirated copy of adobe photoshop to download. The software is just too expensive to purchase for me ATM.

Our version was something like this:

My country’s tired of me
I’m going to Germany
My name is Fritz

I eat my sauerkraut
Right through my (something) snout
From every mountainside,
Let sauerkraut sprout

Shoot. I thought I had it right until I started to type it.

How about “Glory, glory, hallelujah, I hit the teacher with a ruler” – what’s the rest of that one?

Thanks for the Dunkleosteos references (God I hate that name! “Deinichthys” has style.), but it just reinforces my point – you can get a little infrmation in a lot of places, but no in-depth info nywhere. Inch deep and a mile wide.
