What, if anything, does "Nasdaq" mean in Klingon?

Well?

-FrL-

Klingons have no use for our puny human stock exchanges.

“Your mother has a smooth forehead, and as such is incapable of insider trading!”

In the Black Speech of Mordor, in the Lord of the Rings, the Nazdaq were lesser figures resembling the Nazgul, lords of men corrupted by Sauron’s power in the past. The difference was that their rings were not listed on any major precious metals exchange. :stuck_out_tongue:

“NasdaQ” is the Klingonese term for Ferengis.

“All your base are belong to us.”

“Plastics”

No one knows. Every time someone says it to a Klingon, the Klingon kills them.

Then it clearly means :

“Kill Me Now”

“I will not buy this record; it is scratched.”

I have a cousin who’s a member of the Klingon Language Institute. I’ve sent the question on to him.

It means, “My hovercraft is full of eels.” Or possibly, “Do you want to come up to my place bouncy bouncy?” Depending on dialect.

Winner.

“Fetted Foot Cheese”

“How much is that doggie in the window, and does he taste good with Tartar Sauce?”

Tartar sauce? With dog?

Bernaise, certainly.

Only if it’s a Mountain Dog.

It wasn’t in either one. Both ways.
:dubious:

So the obvious implication is…

This thread has no honor.

No eggroll either, what’s up with that?

I have an answer from my cousin, who goes by the KLI handle “Subcommander marqem, Klingon Sanitation Corps.” I consider it authoritative until someone consults Dr. Shoem.

“Vicious?” That describes the stock market well. Although “At vicious” doesn’t really make that much sense.
