I want to get a nice pair of headphones. I mean the over the ear type, not earbuds. What is a good brand that has good quality? Preferably a reasonable priced brand? Please and thank you.

Don’t forget to get one for the other speaker as well, or else you’d suffer from smearing of the low level informaiton in your other speaker.
it would have been much more reasonable to ban the OP; deleting the thread (which had at least some topical discussion) was a shitty thing to do. I actually put some effort into the posts I wrote there and having them just disappear kind of hacks me off.

I got these Panasonic RP-HT260s as a filler for $15 for the time that I was going to research some decent headphones, and it turned out that I didn’t need anything of better quality. If you’re DJing or need something super high quality it might not fit your needs, but for any kind of casual listening you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
The top is a little uncomfortable, but if you wrap a bandanna around it it’s fine. The ears can get a little warm in the hot weather as well. But for the price you can’t go wrong.
