Moderator interveneth: Making snarky comments about a restaurant, food, artist, movie, or whatever is fine, and the funnier the better. Making snarky comments about other posters is NOT acceptable in this forum.
Wendell, I’m not sure how exactly how to take Carnac’s comment, but I took it as being snarky about Ruby Tuesday’s, not about you. The smiley face is an indication that was, indeed, a “friendly joke.” I could be wrong. But regardless, your proper response is to the hit the REPORT BAD POST button (the little ! in the red triangle in the upper corner of the post). By responding in kind, you make the waters murky: you are now equally to blame for an infraction – more, if Carnac’s post was a jab at the restaurant and not at you.
Please cool it. It is surely possible to dsicuss different tastes and different experiences at restaurants without insulting each other?
