Easy. Dope can mean a few things, some of them benign, so many Net Monitors don’t restrict it. I’m a govt. contractor, and have usually worked in a fairly strict environment, internet-wise, but have never had the SDMB restricted. Any variant of “sex” is very likely to be restricted, because, well, duh.

I reckon folks who mostly surf at home or work in more casual environments have no need to think of such things. I’ve learned to mouse over before I click to make sure, which is the best prevention.
