While there are experts on many subjects here, and many of the responses are first rate, Cecil’s articles are 99% correct, complete, and funny to boot. The factual replies on this board are usually 50-90% correct, usually incomplete, and quite often not funny.
There are posters here who, given Cecil’s resources, could probably give responses that were 90%+ complete/correct. And some of them might be as funny.
But the big guy does this day in and day out. And I’d guess he makes slighly less than an NBA star for the thankless job.
Whoever he is, I hope he keeps doing it.
