It’s really getting tiresome, the way every B-lister (and everyone further down the H’wood food chain) goes shopping (or at least voguing) at “The Grove,” which appears to be a pleasant outdoorsy shopping mall and protected enclave for the affluent. But why there? Why would any celeb who honestly is bothered by the paps ever go there, since the TV tabloid shows seem to have cameramen permanently installed there? (Feigning annoyance or surprise, though, is another story…)
And how lazy are these producers for “Extra”/“Access Hollywood”/“The Insider”/“TMZ”, etc. who keep going back there? (Although I can see why they do; the first day you skip that place and a Kardashian sister goes there for a pair of Manolos and you miss it, it’s adios, employment!
But I can’t help but feel there’s some additional reasons, and perhaps incentives, going on. Angelinos, fill us in! Is it that “The Grove” offers the TV producers:
A) free lattes;
B) an ideal blend of natural lighting and shade from glare between 10:00 and 3:00;
C) an extra-convenient or secure parking area for the TV producers’ vans;
D) sexual favors;
E) just an utterly predictable threshold of minor celeb sightings, with the possibility of awkward encounters between nemeses and exes; or
F) something else?
