I know Mandela’s native language was Xhosa, and that Jacob Zuma’s native language is Zulu, but what about Julius Malema? Which African language does he speak? Is it Sotho, Ndbele, Venda?
According to wikipedia it’s Sotho.
Malema’s mother tongue is Pedi (Sepedi), which is the dominant dialect of Northern Sotho (Sesotho sa Leboa). “Sotho”, unqualified, refers to Southern Sotho, which is a different though related language.
