This has been well documented on the Howard Stern show. So that’s a starting point salary-wise. I’m sure Eubanks makes more than ‘Stuttering John’. Plus, hasn’t he had a couple of albums err…CDs?
Eubanks has 12 albums, and has appeared on maybe fifty more as a session player or his regular gigs with other bands. I believe he also has done movie scores, including Men in Black.
My point is that his stint on the Tonight Show has done a lot to increase his public stature and notoriety, and has undoubtedly fueled both sales of past records and helped him to land lucrative gigs.
