What IS Mitt's stance on education and what are the pros and cons?

So is he planning to cut education spending or what? I thought the Ryan plan cut billions from education? Why does he then say he isn’t cutting education?

Does Romney support the voucher system? How does he define performance-based pay?

Admittedly the current system is broken. How did No Child Left Behind make it worse, and why does Romney seem to champion it?

He plans to save money by cutting millions from education while at the same time supporting education by funding it more. He will get more teachers into the schools and also cut the waste by eliminating useless teaching positions. He will cut all the fat out of the system, propose a system of vouchers and will commit to never having a voucher system.

Moreover, he values education and feels that everyone is entitled to pay for it. He champions No Child Left Behind and will never support it under any circumstances.

All clear now?
