I think a snippet from the British comedy “Coupling” is in order here. From memory, but I think I’ve got it fairly close.

Susan Oh yea, that’s right. Sally likes those handy guys. Craftsmen, plumbers, that sort.
Sally There’s just something about a guy in a tool belt. And nothing else…
Susan (laughs) Yea. I mean think about it. It’s all right there. A man like that sends the message “I can fix your cistern, and I can fix your cistern”. Sometimes you just want to break something on purpose so you have an excuse to call a man who works with his hands over to your flat.

Ditto for me on this one. And at HD, the chances of seeing big handy men, in faded jeans and battered work boots goes through the roof. ::swoon:: Sometimes they’re even wearing toolbelts and it’s all I can do to restrain myself.
