I’ve seen this fabric used on quite a few garments…does anyone know what TENCEL is? is it a new synthetic?
I’ve never heard of it but looked it up.
I have a couple of Tencel garments–a tank and a dress/jacket combo. It feels very nice: smooth, almost sort of bouncy/rubbery. It’s hard to describe. But at least I don’t have to dry clean it.
I got both items from Coldwater Creek.
The web site in herman_and_bill’s link says the fiber is made from wood cellulose. Paper, in other words. So, now you can wear paper clothes without getting arrested for rustling.
