What is that game, anyway?

My sons, who live in California and Ohio, are coming to visit their sister and me for a few days in a couple months. On the Internet about a year ago, I heard of a game that I thought would be great for a group like this – mature and fun-loving – but now can’t remember the name of it so I need your help.

I hadn’t heard of this game before, so it’s not a run-of-the-mill that’s familiar to everyone. I have the impression it involves cards with suggestions on them that lead to hilarity, and I believe an additional set of cards could be ordered to go with it.

From this skimpy description, please, have you any suggestions as to what it might be?

Cards Against Humanity???

Probably Cards Against Humanity, or perhaps the less wordy and more family friendly Apples to Apples.

Oh yes – that’s it. Many thanks to you both.

Yet another variant is Crabs Adjust Humidity, which seems to be very similar in target (im)maturity level, and the Crabs cards are the same size as Humanity, so you can mix them in.

One note - if you want to buy Cards Against Humanity, buy it only from the maker’s website or “storefront” on Amazon. If you pay more than $25 for the starter game or $10 for the expansions, you’re paying too much.
