What is the best Online site to follow Election results realtime as they happen?

I know this is an opinion, but I am hoping there is a factual answer to to the fasted most accurate site updating the election results realtime…

So is there a website out there that is better than the rest with the fasted most accurate election results? What are you looking at online for your info?
Mods if this does in fact belong in IMHO would you please do the honors?

One good site so far is http://www.electoral-vote.com, but I don’t know if it will be updated as often as the major news networks today. In any case, the map is excellent just to see the electoral votes and poll numbers.

Unfortunately they are being hit really hard right now and are very slow. CNN is good.

When should we start seeing some numbers? Do polls report any progress before they’re closed?

I don’t believe they can post before they close, at least not the paper polls like I just filled out.

Ah, damn.

So umm, when do the polls close? How long will it then be before all the votes are counted and we (well, you I suppose) have a winner?

It’s mirrored on servers 3-8 (electoral-vote3.com through electoral-vote8.com)

8 o’clock, in each time zone. Looks like a late night for you in England.

Well most states close at 8 p.m. and others at 7 p.m., but the tallies are usually all done by midnight.

Here’s a full listing of when the polls open and close, all states, with conversions for various time zones.

0100 EST (US), 0600 UTC on November 3.

In the past, the Drudge Report has broken the embargo and reported exit poll results that have been leaked to it.

It did this time too. Not much circa 4:30 EST, but a couple early poll results.

www.slate.com is posting exit poll numbers and they’re way more credible than Drudge.

Early exit poll numbers show bad news for Bush in the swing states.

Haj

Geez, everybody knows that Bush supporters vote late.

They gotta go to Happy Hour and get good and snockered, first.
