That’s very odd, since the SGD and Brunei dollar are equal in value. If this were true, I could make money simply by changing currencies in a cycle.

As of just over a year ago there were still almost a million of those Canadian $1,000 notes in circulation.

From reading that, if I did have any I would be rather wary of paying them into the bank, for fear of immediately being hauled off by a Mountie. :slight_smile:

Largest here is 100 yuan = about $14 I think.

I have to pay my rent at 3-monthly intervals, in cash. The stack of notes looks like a man vs food challenge.

I have a couple of million-zaire bills from the early 1990s with a picture of Mobutu Sese Seko on them. Of course they were worth only about $1 US at the time. (In Zaire at that time, you had to be a millionaire to buy a beer.)
