Attempting suicide is illegal. If this is a joke, it’s not funny at all. And I am disturbed by the idea that you want to know something about suicide “for future reference”.

A man who lived on a farm outside the small town my grandparents lived in laid his head on a stick of dynamite and then detonated it . I would imagine that’s got to be pretty damn close to instantaneous and painless.
No open casket funeral however.
