Probably like 14 years—showers were a rarity in small town Texas back in the forties and early fifties. Baths, yes; showers, no. After my parents bought a house with a shower, I never looked back—I probably haven’t had a tub bath in forty years or so.
Seems like I remember a bout with the flu in which I didn’t bathe for about 3 days or so. It was that lay-in-bed-and-heave-till-you-see-the-angels kind of flu.
