Luckily I tried it before putting it out for dozens of teens to drink!
In “stuff that’s meant to be drunk”, the winner has to be raki.
I have a real problem with aniseed flavours anyway - it just makes my tongue shrivel and tastes like poison.
So when I went to take a big shot of what I thought was just neat vodka and it turned out to be raki… well, just typing these words is making me gag.
Cherry tomato in a salad.
Bit down expecting nice juicy tomato…but it was rotten. I got a mouthful of what tasted like the bottom of a trash can in the summer.
I can’t believe that in the almost four years this thread has been out there nobody has mentioned diesel fuel. Surely I’m not the only person ever to get a mouthful of diesel fuel while trying to siphon some from a vehicle into a fuel can for use elsewhere. Not only does it taste bad to begin with, the fumes linger in your sinuses and stomach for DAYS to the extent that you can’t smell or taste anything other than diesel until past the point when you wish you were dead already. And diesel burbs are the WORST!
I can’t answer for things that are not meant to be eaten, as I don’t eat things that aren’t meant to be eaten. But I have two candidates for things that are meant to be eaten:
- Brussels sprouts. Far and away the winner of disgusting.
- Limberger cheese. Ewww.
