Panera restaurant experimented this last year with a pay-as-you-can lunch of chili in a bread bowl. They have withdrawn the program to tweak it, claiming that they didn’t have enough people interested!
It’s not exactly clear if they will re-initiate.
Great. Now I’m hearing this in Admiral Ackbar’s voice.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they faked the data to get the results they wanted. The results area little too perfect for the mood of the times. But as a Washingtonian, I really hope their true. It’s like when I read that DC was the third rudest city to tourists, my thought was we can make it to number 1 with a little effort.
Obviously lobbyists and congressmen don’t do their own shopping.
I’m with this, unless the test was designed so as to not allow a representative sample.
Way back in the day, some of my jobs had the “Honor System Snak Trays” or something. Just about every week, either the boss or the salesman could be heard giving a lecture about not stealing the food. I’ve read some news articles that say honor system snack companies always end up going broke.
