What is the name of this movie?

All too true; sometimes I think I’ve lived the story of that film.

There’s no way that Death would have won the chess match if he hadn’t cheated. So, it’s rather bittersweet seeing people beating Death at Badminton, Twister, etc. On the one hand, it’s great to see him getting his comeuppance; on the other hand, it’s no fun being – apparently – the only person to have lost to Death in a filmed contest. :frowning:

[As it happens, FriarTed, I too have recently convinced an aspiring filmmaker acquaintance/friend to watch The Seventh Seal (on DVD). I’ve not yet heard back with a report as to what she thought of it, but with any luck we’ll be seeing some great Bergman-inspired movies in the years to come!]

Well, I can’t say my friend has shown an Bergmanesque inspiration. He has done two dramatic movies, the first of which I co-produced, but his greatest work is here- http://www.racsofilms.com/trekdownloads.htm

But he didn’t hold a grudge, and later joined their band, Wyld Stallyns, as bass player.

But then after he went solo, didn’t he have some sort of lip syncing scandal forcing him to rejoin the band?

Interestingly, Seal has a much more upbeat ending than most of Bergman’s films.
