What is the prize for winning America's Got Talent: Champions?

In the regular AGT, they make it clear that the winner gets $1 million and some show in Vegas or something. The big prize is paid out over 20 years, but there is a reduced lump sum you can choose as well.

Anyway, the Champions show goes out of its way(I think) to not tell us what the prize is. Other than “world champion” or something, what is the prize?

This uncited news articles claims the prize is merely $25,000 dollars, which is such a reduction from the main show, I can hardly believe it.

I read on another site that the winner gets the full $1 million that the main show pays. Again, it was uncited(I can not find it now).

Does anyone know or is anyone able to do a better job than me in finding the answer?

Since this is about a TV show, let’s move it to Cafe Society.

The biggest “payment” is in publicity and increased ticket sales for the performers existing shows.

They have all 'made it" because of AGT and are delighted to be invited back for any reason.

Someone on Primetimer said that somewhere in the end credits (you’ll probably have to go frame-by-frame) is a disclaimer saying that the grand prize is $25,000. I’m inclined to believe that, as big prizes in reality TV always get hyped up, whereas a paltry five-figures is the kind of thing they probably want to keep quiet about.

Dang. Twenty-five grand split up among all the members of V.Unbeatable? If this was supposed to “make up” for them not winning their season, they should feel even more insulted now.

OK, I will actually go through it frame-by-frame and check.

(will report back later)

Yes, it is $25,000 plus “an announced prize”.

I did not hear an announced prize, though.

I think the trophy is the only “announced prize.”

Note that, unlike “normal” AGT, there is no Vegas show for the Champions acts.
