What is the record number of records held by an individual at one time in the Guinness World Records?
He set over 230 and currently holds 100.
Does having a record number of records warrant its own entry in the book?
According to the Wiki entry, yes it does:
Ok, but is there any entry for “Most Wikipedia articles skimmed due to laziness instead of read”?
Back in the early '80s, a guy named Steve McPeak was listed as having the most records; he was one of those nuts who ride unicycles on tightropes over Niagara Falls and such. I guess he’s been dethroned. Sic transit gloria mundi, and all.
Multi-holders in the record books typically go after records of the kind “(almost) no-one has ever tried what I’m about to do”. IMHO anyone with a single world record in anything competitive is way cooler.
