Kind of sad that Hillary will likely run, basically, uncontested. Though, I hear Bernie may throw his hat in the ring just for giggles.

There’s a presidential election to get excited about.
Bernie Sanders spoke in my town a few months ago. No way can he be POTUS; he’s too reasonable. At 74, I really think he’s too old to be elected for a first term as well.
I kept a page from a Dave Barry calendar I had a couple years ago, and it’s tacked up on my bulletin board. It says: “The biggest problem I have with both major political parties is that they seem to be competing in some kind of giant national scavenger hunt every four years to see who can find the biggest goober to run for president.”

I think a case can be made that the thing is rigged by the DNC and RNC feilding candidates long before any primary ever takes place. By funding only those milquetoast politicians that toe the line when they’re senators and representatives…

I do kind of like the conservative idea of less federal control over states …of letting states, and the politicians, locally selected, experiment to see what works for them.
Of course, I say ‘conservative’ idea, but who were the politicians fighting to block DC from implementing their passed marijuana program?
