What is the take from Obama's tax plan?

Does anyone know how much money the gov’t will receive based on Obama’s tax plan? I realize that it is impossible to get that to the penny, but can it be calculated roughly?

Bonus question: same questions vis a vis McCain.

Total tax receipts are impossible to predict because we don’t know how many people will be employed, how much they’ll make, and how their investments will do- ie., we don’t know what the taxable base is.

If we assume that some things remain static (job growth, inflation, etc.) you can project the receipts.

Can we predict it within $100 billion or so?
