What is the target market for this piece of apparel?

I guess I just don’t understand fashion. The asking price for this piece is over 6 thou. I’d be embarrassed to be seen in it, but then again, I’m far from young.

Well if you ever find yourself in a Mad Max Apocalypse you’ll wish you bought this.

I’d have to wait for the MMA and steal it.

Justin Bieber is the target market. Not his fans, just Biebs himself.

Hipster Douchbags.

It really doesn’t work if you don’t wear the matching codpiece.

Black Bolt, king of the Inhumans.

Well yeah, but you can say that about any apparel.

I think it’s just conspicuous consumption. You don’t wear that jacket (or anything else on that site: $200 for a kid’s T-shirt!?) because it’s practical or comfortable or stylish. You wear it because you want to show off that you can afford to drop $6k on a jacket. It’s not something that says “I’m fashionable”, it says “I’m rich, you dirty peasant”.

Or a Blade remake?

I don’t personally know anyone who would want one but I can see where it would have a place for someone who wants a longer leather coat that would still be comfortable in a car.

Fashionable people. You know, like the ones who buy high heels or haircuts.

Does it have a special pocket for the new iPhone X?? If so, then that answers the OP…

People who have played too much Assassin’s Creed?

The target market is people who roughly approximate David from Schitt’s Creek.

Ironically, the dirty peasants probably have no idea that it costs $6,000 because they don’t hang out in those stores (or those websites) and figure a dumb leather coat like that probably costs under a grand.

It’s not for showing off to poor people. It is for showing off to other people who can afford such a thing, and know what it is.

Right. And this is for those who can’t afford it but still want to try to look the part.

Wow, those are in now? Everything’s coming up Milhouse!

Somehow I find that appealing. The free shipping is also a nice touch.

Here’s a better question. The side bar has categories for Men, Women, TRF and Kids. What the hell’s a TRF? The clothes appear to be baggy, yet female-cut and draped over waifish young women. But the same categories (trousers, tops, outerwear, etc) are repeated for both Women and TRFs.

Also, when you want to wealth-signal to the other rich people that you just escaped from a fashionable asylum.
