What is this 60s/Art Nouveau-ish font?

The only reason why Böcklin & Métropolitain fonts even come close is because they are Art Nouveau typefaces & are the best known ones at that.

But there are dozens of Art Nouveau typefaces. I have a book of 24, but none of those came much closer than Böcklin does. Then there is this catalog: The Solotype Catalog of 4,147 Display Typefaces If you scroll down to the Art Nouveau fonts, you’ll find several pages of typeface samples, many of which have one or two attributes right & one or two wrong.

The closest I can get is “Student”, but that’s at least as likely to be because the sample doesn’t contain any of the letters in the OP’s image.

So if you’re looking for this exact font, good luck. Most of the typography books I can find are American; this may only show up in a British typography collection.

BTW, if you go to the catalog link, make sure you scroll down to his comment on 60’s poster typefaces.

Unfortunately, those pages are missing in the preview, at least for me.

I’m really confused by all the Bocklin talk. Here’s a page with the font. You can type in your own sample text in the drop-down menu. Typing in “ADAM ADAMANT” doesn’t yield anything that I would say resembles the text in the OP. The “Roberta” font (also shown), though, is a good bit closer.

Weird. When I scroll to the top, then scroll down to the “visual” third page (as opposed to using the page arrows, which thinks this is page 5) there is a contents section with links Art Nouveau pages. That doesn’t work for you?

Nope. Not even clickable for me. The weird thing is that the “Art Noveau” was clickable earlier today for me, but sent me down to a page that said it was not included in the preview.

Wait…switching over to Firefox (from Chrome) allows me to access that page. I don’t get it. Safari works, too. Checking back with Chrome, I see: “Pages 30 to 239 are not shown in this preview.”

That’s a useful page. It made me realize that my offering doesn’t have upper case letters. :o
