I noticed somthing a bit odd awhile ago. I am looking for a job thru a site called hcareers.com.
I noticed I was always getting phone calls that come across my caller ID as “unknown caller” so there is no phone caller. Around last christmas there were no jobs to apply for and I noticed that the unknown caller calls stopped.
About a month ago I had a job that looked good so I stopped applying for jobs. I had about two weeks of interviews. I didn’t get that job. But during the time I wasn’t apply to jobs on the site the calls stopped. Then when I didn’t get the job I stopped by the internet cafe and logged in and started applying again. By the time I got home I had at least 5 phone calls on my caller ID as “unknown caller.”
Anyway last week I had to travel for a interview. I had to go to DC twice. So during that time I didn’t apply to anything. NO CALLS were logged on the caller ID.
Now I just came back from the supposed final interview but the guy blew me off. So I was like, I don’t have that job. So I got home and logged on to hcareers.com and applied for 5 jobs. I then walked over to the kitchen to get some coffee.
You gessed it the phone ran. I ran over thinking it was that guy who blew me off, but before I could get it, the phone went into voicemail. AND the caller ID says “Unknown Caller.” Now as I stated above I haven’t had one of those in over a week.
I should also mention that NEVER ONCE has anyone left a message. It’s interesting to note that they only occur between 9a-5p, Monday Thru Friday, and NEVER is a message left.
I have other hotels (hcareers is for hotels and the like) call but their name shows up or the number shows up AND they leave a message.
Unfortunately I have never been in to get these calls.
Does anyone have any idea what’s up, or is this a coincidence?
